    Yes, I am a TCK and an avid reader! My books were always with me. I still cannot bring myself to get rid of my favorite childhood books, they are my friends.

    yes I agree...! the kiddie books that came with me were my only reference to my home country, and in its colours and positive atmosphere, I saw the paradise that was Holland with snow and autumn leaves that my Dutch teachers spoke about. My mom kept them because, she says, they don&#039;t make em like that anymore...I wonder why..because it doesn&#039;t look like that anymore?
